A man identified as Oluwatosin Otaiku has reportedly taken his life after his fiance, Olaogun Oluwatoyin called off their relationship. According to Punch Metro, the deceased stabbed himself to death in Onikolobo area of Abeokuta; Ogun State on Saturday, June 28, 2014, after tireless efforts in reconciling with his fiancée. An eyewitness also told Punch Metro that before Otaiku’s death, the deceased and his fiancée were invited to have a private chat inside a shop at Safari junction in Onikolobo to revive their relationship, unfortunately the female partner stood firm to her words which prompted the male partner bringing out a knife from his pocket to stab himself. At the tragic scene his fiancée, alerted neighbours who rushed into the shop to take him to the hospital but he died on the way. The case is said to have been reported at the Adigbe Police Division, while Olaogun Oluwatoyin, his fiancée has been apprehended for further investigation....
